4-H Youth Development Program

4-H Youth Development Program

Did you know that youth can choose whatever they are interested in learning about and while gaining an education on that subject learn life skills, community service, compassion and caring for others? 4-H is a youth development program for youth between the ages of 5 and 19 where they can do just that!

A 4-H member chooses a project or many projects that they have a passion for; it could be cooking, shooting sports, robotics, rabbits, horses, sewing, citizenship or anything else they can think of. If there is a youth with a passion to learn about something, we can find an adult to help them! The member joins a project where the project leader (a 4-H Leader) teaches them about it and helps them to apply what they have learned in their life. 4-H also offers public speaking and how to do demonstrations which are skills needed when youth are interviewed (great way to prepare for job interviews!), summer camps, leadership conferences and workshops, scholarships and much more.
